The study area is already overserved by public transportation while other areas of the city remain underserved. The #2 route covers 90% of this study area and runs every 20 minutes on weekdays and every half an hour on weekends. I live off of 108th and Maple and work in Oakview area, if I were to take the bus on weekdays it would take me 2 hours and 45 minutes each way to get to and from work!!!! Even longer on weekends and I have to walk one mile to catch a bus!The city needs to realize that many of the service jobs are moving further west and are not 9-5 gigs. Many service workers rely on the public transit system.
