In order to make transit work the best, it needs to be along dense corridors. Omaha needs to make land use changes to make the city more dense. The new transportation plan makes density changes optional with a pat on the back if you share parking lots. This is not good enough. Make strict rules for density for everything east of 72nd. In 10 years maybe they can extend the line to east of I-680. Historic areas will be exempt like Benson business district. Build up with mixed use and no more setback!
