From Raleigh, NC, here is a great idea [see the link]. I know there was a group that did something like this for the College World Series that just happened [walkomaha.com]. They also made it fun with sidewalk chalk art. It could be a great way to raise awareness of the most basic and underutilized mode of transportation that almost everyone has: our feet!
