Your participation is critical in identifying transit options that will provide a safe, efficient, economical, attractive, and integrated transit system that offers convenient, accessible, and affordable mobility within Omaha’s urban core. Your comments have been reviewed by Metro, the City of Omaha, and the Consulting Team and will be used to help identify the preferred alternative.

Improved bus and rapid bus transit would be welcome, but they do not foster the economic development a streetcar line does. There are examples coast to coast of residential and commercial development booms once streetcar lines are installed. Demand of living space, retail and office space explode. As well as property values rising considerably in the areas around the line.
